Be Kind, Be You – Represent NeuroFriends in a positive, respectful way. No need to be fake-perfect—just be your awesome self while respecting others.
Respect Privacy – Don’t share personal stories, names, or details about others unless you have their clear permission.
No Online Drama Llamas – If you’ve got an issue, talk to us directly rather than airing it online.
Photo & Video Use
Consent is Cool (and Required)
We always ask for permission before taking or sharing identifiable photos or videos.
A no is a no. Always.
Opt-Out Options
If you don't want to be photographed or filmed, let us know—we’ll make sure you’re not included.
We may use stickers, lanyards, or other signals to indicate photo preferences.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers posting to social media must double-check consent before posting.
Never post photos of minors without signed parent/guardian permission.
Social Media Content
Do Share: Encouraging posts, creative content, event updates, and snack pics (with consent).
Don’t Share: Anything private, discriminatory, or that could "out" someone’s neurodivergent identity.
Privacy & Safety
Never share personal contact info or private group details.
If you're unsure whether you can tag or mention someone, ask them privately first.
If Something Goes Wrong
If you see a post or photo that you're uncomfortable with, please contact a facilitator or volunteer privately. We'll fix it quickly and with kindness—no drama, no shame.
